The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sandy Hook Tragedy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Picture of House with Luminaries

Twenty-Six Lumaries were displayed and lit Christmas Eve in rural Dakota, Il. in memory of the 26 victins of the Newstown, Ct. shooting, two additional luminaries were lit for two young local men. One died in August and the other was just killed two nights before Christmas in a snowmobile accident. Looking out the window after they were all lit, my husband commented what a sad sight it was. We pray for each of you that lost a loved one, and pray that on the dsys when you miss them the most you will find comfort in all the sweet memories you have of them.
